Baqa'a refugee camp for Palestinians

From the archives: the Palestinian refugee camp of Baqa'a, near Amman Jordan, 1969

The Baqa'a camp was one of six refugee camps set up in Jordan in 1968 to house Palestinians fleeing from the West Bank & Gaza during the 1967 Arab-Israeli war. The original tents have since been replaced with concrete shelters. The injustice has only increased. In the time these young boys have grown to middle-age & become grand-fathers, Israel's shameful Law of Return has brought thousands upon thousands of Zionist settlers from around the world to take over their lands. Support the Palestinian right to return to their homeland by boycotting all Israeli products (barcode beginning 729).  (Photo by Bruno Barbey)
