Murderous hypocrisy

The hypocrisies & criminal lunacies of US foreign policy never fail to take your breath away but you can never accuse it of being inconsistent. While the US colludes with Israel in a murderous assault on the people of Gaza, Obama visited Burma to laud the regime for new achievements in democracy & human freedom. The US denounces Hamas which governs Gaza as terrorists while Israel rains bombs on Gaza & the regime in Burma continues to ethnically cleanse now over 110,000 Rohingya Muslims & drive them into exile.

Here Obama meets with Burmese political figure, Aung San Suu Kyi. Both are Nobel Peace Prize winners--an honorific on a par with People magazine’s “Sexiest Man of the Year” award in worthlessness. Suu Kyi has not yet uttered a peep of protest against the monstrous regime crimes against the Rohingyas. Nor has Obama. What is so remarkable is that US politicians like Obama & Clinton strut about the world chiding & sermonizing about human rights when in a sane world they would all be on trial for war crimes & human rights atrocities.
