Israel is now carrying out a massive bombing onslaught on Gaza--ignoring international law & imitating the lawlessness of the US government which is bankrolling this murderous operation. The stated intention of the Israeli military was to extrajudicially assassinate Ahmed Al-Jaabari, a leader of Hamas & they dropped a bomb on the car he was traveling in. But bombs are raining down all over Gaza. The death toll cannot be finalized until the onslaught has ended but 10 have died in the past several hours, including an infant. Israel indicates there will be more carnage to come.
In the major Israeli onslaught on Gaza in 2008-2009, 1,400 Palestinians were murdered by Israeli bombers, including 330 children. But Israel has never let up on bombing Gaza. Rallies are being organized around the world in defense of the Palestinians & in condemnation of Israel. Find a rally in your city, call the Israeli embassy (202) 364-5500), call the White House (202-456-1111), call the US State Department (202-647-4000) & demand the immediate cessation of Israeli bombing in Gaza & the end of US military aid to Israel.
